Merry Christmas, Tom!

Merry Christmas, Tom!

I am really glad that we have documented proof of our early YouTube escapades with our two shows, Those Guys with the Laptop and Laptop Nation. It is a fun reminder of the connection we had and will continue to have into the future.

Getting into Civilization 5 with Michael and you has been fun so far. Can’t wait to see who dominates the world.

This past year has been a time of unwinding the anxiety, stress, and depression that has consumed my mind for a long time. But, as our internet videos can attest, I was able to manage for a while. But the slow build up of financial stress with high-interest credit card debt and the inability to fully move past events in my childhood involving bad friends, eventually was too much for me to handle.

There was a sense of freedom from my mind when alcohol, and later weed, was introduced into my life. But numbing feelings and thoughts did not address the root cause, leading to avoidance and addiction to substances in order to cope.

Walking into the hospital in September was scary, but it was exactly what I needed to learn how to manage my emotions. Meditation, medication, therapy, and sobriety has been life-changing to repair the damage to my mind over the past decade.

And all of the realizations and positive outlooks on my life the past couple months has shown me that everything has and will work out.

This year had two amazing events involving the Biele siblings meeting Colleen and you. I was super happy at both meetups and super proud that, after a long time, Michael and I are finally starting to integrate the families.

I’m working on my vows for our small wedding ceremony on 2/5/2025; I plan on finishing before I meet up with you for coffee in Boston to get your advice and thoughts. We will definitely plan a big gathering sometime this year, some place where the drive isn’t too far for the rest of the family.

I am excited for the Stranger Things Broadway play in March! Really happy that we all watched the ending to Season 4 together; it was the perfect prequel to our day in NYC together.

Love, Sean 💕
