Chapter Eleven

All of them appeared right outside a gate, which Michelle and Shannon did not see before. The gate was almost like an entrance to a mansion, possibly a haunted mansion.

“How do we get in?” questioned Heather.

“By saying the password,” replied the angel. “Allea-shwer-four-pla.”

Suddenly, the gate started to open. Everyone, of course, moved backward, so the moving gate will not crush them. As soon as it completely opened, all of them stepped inside the forest.

“Now, humans, we are in the creatures’ territory. We must not disturb their peaceful sleep, if they are asleep,” said the angel, in a soft voice.

“What do we do if one of us separates?” asked Michelle.

“Then try and find the cabin and stay there,” replied the angel, in another soft voice.

“Wait a minute! If you’re an angel, why can’t you just make all of us appear at the cabin?” asked Heather.

“Well, since we are in the spiritual world, my powers are useless when faced against the terrible creatures that reside in this forest. You see, these creatures use a certain type of magic that can block all other types of enchantments, much like the enchantment I use,” replied the angel.

“So, do they have any effect on us?” questioned Shannon.

“If you count that they can rip you limb from limb, then yes, they do have an effect on you,” said the angel.

Shannon, Michelle, and Heather became afraid of walking any further after the angel finished saying her reply. However, since they wanted to get rid of Jack the Ghost forever, they embraced themselves and moved forward. They trees and plants became darker and darker as they moved along with the angel. The angel, however, was not feeling any sign of fear.

“You’re not scared of this forest!” exclaimed Shannon, as she turned towards the angel.

“What makes you say that?” asked the angel.

“Well, your face doesn’t seem to show any signs of fear or panic,” replied Michelle.

“And you didn’t even care about the darkening of the trees behind us!” shouted Heather.

“Well… I do not get frightened very easily! That’s all, so can we please get back to the search,” said the angel in defense.

All of them continued their exploration through the forest. The only person who did not seem at all afraid was the angel, of course. Michelle, Shannon, and Heather still seemed shocked at the amount of courage for an angel. It took about fifteen minutes, but Michelle, Shannon, Heather, and the angel finally made it to the cabin.

“We’re here!” exclaimed the angel.

“What, why didn’t we see any of the deadly creatures that you said would come out?” asked Michelle.

“I guess they were still sleeping,” replied the angel.

All of them proceeded towards the door to the cabin, but, suddenly, they heard a scream. However, this scream was not like any other yell because they could also hear a chainsaw in the background.

“What was that?” asked Heather.

“It sounds like a chainsaw with a person screaming! We better get out of here!” replied Shannon.

All of them ran into the cabin to escape the screams of terror. When they got inside the cabin, all they could see was three staircases and one hallway right in front of them.

“Which way do we go?” asked Shannon.

“Maybe we should all split up,” replied the angel.

“Good idea!” responded Michelle.

So, since they decided to split up, Michelle ran through the hallway, Shannon ran up the stairway to the left, Heather ran up the stairway to the right, and the angel flew up the last stairway. Since Michelle was afraid of spiders and any other kind of bug, she walked very slowly through the hallway. The hallway, though, seemed to be covered in spider webs and dead flies. Nothing could have been more disgusting and horrifying then seeing dead bugs all around you.

Shannon was not doing much better either because she kept stopping every foot or so to check for any ghosts. Shannon was almost as scared as Michelle was, but she kept on searching for the cocoa tree. Heather was not doing much better then Shannon and Michelle combined. She could barely move without hearing footsteps. The footsteps she heard, however, were her own footsteps. As you could see, all of them were scared of this whole experience except for one person, might I say angel, who did not have one bit of fear on her face.

The angel was not afraid at all, and she seemed to be searching for something else. Well, whatever she wanted to find, she certainly found it because she flew faster and faster until she met face to face with a monstrous creature. The creature was big, tall, and could probably knock the angel out in one punch.

The creature asked, “So, Prang, do you have the red jewel?”

“No, but I have some children trying to find it, master,” replied the angel, otherwise known as Prang.

“Good, I would hope they find it soon because he is coming,” said the creature, otherwise known to the angel as master.

“They will find it, master, do not worry! Where will he appear anyway?” asked the angel.

“He will appear…,” replied the creature, before someone who yelled interrupted him.

The person who yelled was Shannon, who seemed to find the cocoa tree and possibly the red jewel.

“I found the cocoa tree!” yelled Shannon, again.

Indeed, he did find the cocoa tree because there were cocoa beans all over it. Michelle and Heather immediately ran towards Shannon, which took about two minutes.

“So, where is the red jewel?” asked Heather.

“Maybe it is under the mistletoe,” responded Michelle.

“Why do you think that?” questioned Shannon.

“Well, on the piece of paper it said: underneath the mistletoe, so I am guessing we should find the mistletoe on this tree,” replied Michelle.

Therefore, Michelle, Shannon, and Heather began to search for the mistletoe. About three minutes later, Heather found the mistletoe and the red jewel.

“That’s the red jewel!” exclaimed Michelle, “That’s just some small piece of plastic colored in red paint!”

“I don’t know! This could be a very powerful tool to defeat Jack the Ghost,” said Shannon.

“How about we just find the angel and get out of here,” said Heather.

“Okay,” said Michelle and Shannon in comparison.

All of them searched the entire cabin for the angel, but with no luck. Just then, as they were in the cabin, a ghost appeared in front of them. It seemed angry, very angry. To defend themselves, they held out the red jewel towards the ghost. Then, the ghost seemed to be a sucked into the jewel with great force. It seemed almost like a vacuum cleaner, only much smaller.

Suddenly, all of them disappeared and reappeared in Michelle’s backyard. They did not know who could have that power to do such an enchantment, and they did not want to find out.
