Chapter Four

When Michelle got into the house, she quickly searched for a camera that would develop a picture in no time flat. It took one hour until she found the camera, but she knew it would be worth the time. Since she knew her mom and dad would not let her stay up late on a school night, Michelle decided to sneak out of the house again.

It took two cups of soda and coffee, but she stayed up until her parents went to bed. She snuck down the stairs and outside into her backyard. She was definitely afraid of every step she took, which made her journey a lot longer than she planned.

When she got up onto the floor of the clubhouse, she heard the voice talking again. Therefore, she waited until it finished what it was saying.

It said, “I know, Lord, that I have stolen items in the past, but can you forgive me even after death?”

Then, when Michelle did not expect it, the ghost appeared right in front of her. Since she had a camera in her hand, she covered her face with it. Then, she remembered why she was here in the first place. She pressed the button on the camera, and the ghost disappeared in a flash.

After the ghost disappeared, she instantaneously climbed down the ladder as fast as she could, and then, she ran into her room and locked the door. She covered herself with her blankets and fell fast asleep. Little did she know that she would regret ever coming to school the next day.
