Chapter 19: Fury

“What?” asked Ron, astonished.

Harry, instead of replying, walked to his trunk, rummaged through, pulled out a box, and opened it: a bright light struck his eyes.

“Look," said Harry, beckoning Ron to come over.

Ron picked up the goggles from the box, seemingly examining them.

“Yeah. These look exactly like the Welsing goggles,” said Ron.

Harry, turning to face Ron, said, quite loudly, “I think I know who’s the Challenger: Jeremy!”

Suddenly, the door of their room opened: Luna walked in.

“What's going on in here?” she asked.

Harry got up and said, “Luna, can you come with me? I’m going to find someone.”

Luna replied, “Find who?”

Harry, glancing at Ron for a moment, said, “You'll find out when we find him.”

Luna nodded as Ron got up and said, “Harry, I know what you trying to do. If Jeremy really is the Challenger, he could be very dangerous!”

Harry, shaking his head, replied, “He couldn't be more dangerous to me than Voldemort. Anyway, I’m finishing him off, so he won't be able to challenge me.”

Ron, however, stood, quite stubbornly, with his arms folded and said, “Harry, don't you understand. There’s a Challenger. You’re the Seeker. It’s final. You can't get away with it! If you try to finish the Challenger without the Snitch, you'll die as well!”

Harry simply replied, “Ron, I don't want to argue. I know what I’m doing!”

Ron, still resisting to move, said, “Harry, how do you know for sure that he really is the Challenger? If he’s the Challenger, then why did he give you the Goggles? He wouldn't have helped you if he was against you, would he?”

Harry considered this for a moment, but made up his mind: he was still going. As Harry moved forward, Ron said loudly, “You'll regret this, Harry!”

Harry felt a strong feeling of fury for Ron at this moment, but he simply resisted the urge to curse Ron. As he was about to leave the room, the door opened, revealing Jeremy, smiling, and said, “I’m back.”

Harry stood there, frozen. The smile on Jeremy's face faded quickly as he said, “What's the matter Harry?”

Harry, drawing out his wand, replied, “Get out!”

“What?” asked Jeremy, looking dumbstruck.

“Get out of this house or I'll kill you, Jeremy!” screamed Harry.

“Is this a joke?” asked Jeremy a second time.

“It bloody well isn’t! Get out! I’m warning you!” screamed Harry, fury inside of him.

Suddenly, blue sparks started shooting out of Harry's hand. He was shivering with anger. As he raised his wand, Jeremy quickly drew out his.

“Harry, I don't know what you’re talking about, but if you insist, I’m ready to fight,” said Jeremy.

Harry glanced at Ron, but then, glared back at Jeremy, yelling, “Sectusempra!”
But before Harry could finish the spell, Jeremy flicked his wand and Harry was blasted backwards with immense force, smashing against the chest of drawers. All Harry could hear in that moment was the swish of a cloak and the Crack! of Jeremy Disapparating.
